Overview
Psychology Graduate LSA – Chelmsford, Essex. September 2026 start. Long-term contract with the view of going permanent. Full-time position paying £88-£100 per day. This role offers hands-on experience with students who have SEND and Mental Health needs, working closely with professionals such as child psychologists, speech & language therapists, and pastoral support.
Responsibilities
* Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Mental Health needs in a primary school setting.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team with trained professionals including child psychologists, speech & language therapists, and pastoral staff.
* Assist with day-to-day classroom activities and provide supervision under the guidance of teaching and support staff.
* Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and confidential environment for students and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in Psychology or a related subject.
* Warm, welcoming demeanor with the ability to work as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills with discretion and confidentiality.
* Experience or knowledge of supporting SEN is desirable.
