Loop Recruitment have partnered with a high‑growth consumer brand to help build out their in house Marketing team with an Experience SEO Executive.
The brand is moving SEO in‑house in 2026 and hiring an SEO Exec to drive organic growth, diversify traffic away from Paid, and build a content-led acquisition channel.
ROLE: SEO Executive (Technical + Content SEO | In‑house transition)
This is a hands‑on role with clear ownership: you'll lead on technical SEO and content strategy, work across product/commerce/marketing, and report into the Performance Marketing Manager. Expect real commercial impact and visibility to senior directors.
What You'll Be Doing
Own and execute SEO strategy to drive organic users and commercial KPIs (grow monthly users via organic channels).
Lead on‑page and technical optimisation (metadata, internal linking, structured data, Core Web Vitals).
Introduce and run a content/blog strategy (site currently has no blog) and measure content impact.
Reduce reliance on Paid (currently ~60% of traffic) by diversifying acquisition.
Conduct keyword research, audits and competitive benchmarking using GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
Work closely with web/dev, paid, email CRM, designers and content teams to QA releases and embed SEO into the product roadmap.
Identify link‑building and outreach opportunities and support event/PR activity (events, athlete fittings, Pitch Manchester).
Monitor performance with BI tools and report trends and recommendations to stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
3+ years' SEO experience, ideally in performance‑driven e‑commerce.
Strong technical, on‑page and content SEO skills and experience with GA4/Search Console/SEMrush.
Comfortable working with dev teams and influencing product/marketing stakeholders.
Commercial focus with ability to tie SEO work to acquisition and margin goals.
Self‑starter who can move an agency relationship in‑house and build processes.
Familiarity with AI tools to boost SEO workflows is a plus.
Nice to Haves
Ecommerce/retail or sports retail experience.
Experience building editorial content and measuring its commercial impact.
Event/PR SEO experience.
