Role Overview:

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our self-storage facility. In this role, you will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in managing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that it remains clean, secure, and well-maintained. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, assisting with storage needs, and conducting facility tours to help customers find the best storage solutions. An important aspect of the role is implementing and monitoring security practices to protect customer belongings and ensure the safety of the facility.

In addition to operational tasks, you will support administrative functions by helping manage the leasing process. This includes handling rental agreements, renewals, and fee collections, as well as maintaining accurate records and customer information. You will work closely with the management team to improve operational processes and contribute ideas for enhancing customer satisfaction. Engaging with the local community is also part of your responsibilities, as you will support local initiatives and events to maintain positive relationships with customers and local businesses.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a relevant background in sales and customer service, ideally in self-storage or a similar field. A proven track record of supporting business operations and enhancing customer experiences is important. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will interact with customers and team members regularly. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and professionalism in handling customer enquirers and concerns are necessary. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, is required to meet customer needs and attend local events.
