About the Service – Westbrook House
A residential care service supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The service promotes independence, choice, and wellbeing through tailored, person‑centred support.
Westbrook House is an 8‑bedded home, currently supporting 7 service users:
5 service users are wheelchair users, require hoisting, and support with PEG feeding. 2 service users are more physically able and require support with learning disabilities.
Westbrook House has a warm, friendly atmosphere. There is free parking onsite.

The Role
* Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers, providing guidance, role‑modelling, and day‑to‑day direction.
* Deliver and oversee high‑quality, person‑centred support, ensuring support plans are followed, reviewed, and updated.
* Coordinate and participate in meaningful activities, appointments, and community engagement for the people we support.
* Maintain high standards of record‑keeping, completing documentation, incident reports, and reviews professionally.
* Participate in the Senior On‑Call rota, responding to staff queries, incidents, and operational needs as required.

* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work rota‑based shifts including Senior On‑Call
* Committed to maintaining high‑quality standards and excellent practice
Requirements
* Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
* Drivers desirable but not essential
* Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
