RG Consultancy are working closely with a manufacturing business in Dukinfield who are looking to recruit an experienced accounts and payroll assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager working on all financial transactions on a day-to-day basis. You will join a small and friendly finance team and be an all-around support in the accounts department.

Role responsibility
* Maintain all financial recording including sales ledger and purchase ledger
* Accounts payable - process invoices, payment and expenses
* Manage and maintain overdue accounts, maintaining and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers
* Bank reconciliations
* Support with month end management accounts when required
* Process payroll for all weekly paid employees
* Any additional ad hoc and accounts admin tasks as required to assist the finance manager on a daily basis
Person specification
* Proven experience in accounts and payroll is essential
* An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
* Strong IT skills, particularly strong MS Excel skills
* Experience working with XERO would be an advantage for this role
