Cluster Residential Child Care Worker – Pebbles Care
A caring, resilient and supportive child‑care professional who enjoys working with children and handling challenging behaviour in line with Pebbles’ therapeutic approach is invited to join our team. The role involves working across a small cluster of homes with varied shift patterns to support holiday or training cover, providing one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one care for young people aged 8‑18.
Responsibilities
* Drive children to and from school, appointments and visits – a full UK manual driving licence is mandatory.
* Teach life skills such as meal preparation, household chores and confidence‑building activities.
* Plan and deliver engaging activities, outings and holidays.
* Support each young person’s needs, working collaboratively with the team on shifts across multiple locations.
* Complete induction and shadow shifts, learning the Pebbles Way and therapeutic care model.
Benefits
* Starting salary of £34,719.00 to £36,248.00 per annum, pro rata.
* Rostered rota: one day on (24 hrs including sleep‑over) and two days off (48 hrs). Hours may vary by home.
* Average weekly working hours 56.4, including sleep‑overs.

* Existing PVG/DBS certificate.
