The Chef
De Partie is responsible for managing a specific area of the kitchen at every
event. It involves preparing and cooking high quality dishes for VIP guests,
team members and drivers in a high-pressure, fast paced environment.

Prepare, cook and present dishes to the
highest standards in terms of taste, texture and presentation, ensuring quality
and consistency
·
Manage a section of the kitchen
depending on level of expertise, ensuring it is always organised, and all equipment
and tools are properly sanitised
·
Communicate with other areas of the
kitchen to ensure a coordinated service during busy periods
·
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the
specific standards and expectations of VIP guests, sponsors and team members
·
Maintain portion control and minimise
waste where possible
·
Ensure you are always adhering to food
safety and hygiene standards including proper preparation, handling and storage
·
Follow HACCP guidelines and all other
regulations to ensure a safe and clean working environment
·
Maintain stock levels for your area
ensuring you have sufficient supplies for each event reporting any shortages or
issues with stock
·
Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in
multiple areas of the kitchen, adapting dishes as and when required based on preference
or dietary requirements
·
Put forward innovative and creative menu
ideas to senior kitchen leadership
·
Partake in the set up and pack down
following each event to the correct standards
·
Shared responsibility, along with the
rest of the kitchen team, assisting with pot washing, handling waste disposal
and service equipment turnover.
Who We Are Looking For
·
Previous experience as a Chef De Partie
or in a similar role preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant, or in event
catering
·
Ability to work well under pressure and
in a fast-paced environment
·
Excellent attention to detail and
commitment to high standards
·
Good communication and teamwork
·
Strong knowledge of food safety and
hygiene regulations, including HACCP
Requirements
·
The role requires travel and
work abroad for approximately 27 weeks of the year, in line with the F1
calendar
Adhere to standards of behavior and conduct expected
by Absolute Taste and their clients
