JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor
Location:
South East England, Surrey, Guildford
Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored educational support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs
* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to facilitate learning
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN principles and practises
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in SEN or relevant field
* Training in specific SEN interventions
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work environment will include educational settings such as schools or learning centres. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate students' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
