Job Description Sales Ledger - Permanent – based in Kettering, NN15 Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to support a busy Finance team in maintaining accurate and timely invoicing, managing sales ledger records, and resolving invoice-related queries. This role is ideal for someone with previous sales ledger experience who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment within a growing organisation. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Provide support across both Sales Ledger functions as required. Generate and issue accurate customer sales invoices in a timely manner. Ensure all invoices comply with company policies and client agreements. Working collaboratively with other departments to confirm order and billing details. Maintain accurate invoicing records and update customer billing information. Prepare credit notes and process invoice adjustments where required. Respond to and resolve invoice-related queries with internal teams. Maintain shared excel trackers for external clients. Support the month-end billing process and ensure all sales are invoiced by relevant deadlines. Person Specification: Confident and professional communicator with strong written and verbal skills. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Determined and tenacious approach to credit control. Comfortable working with complex clients and ledgers. Proactive team player who can adapt in a fast-paced environment. Experience: Previous experience in Sales Ledger role. Sage software experience advantageous but not essential. Good working knowledge of Excel.
