Overview
Fowler Welch (Part of the Culina Group) operates in the fresh produce sector providing time critical logistics solutions for major retailers, growers and manufacturers across the UK.
We are looking for bright, determined individuals who are interested in a career in Logistics. You will earn while you learn on a structured 12 month apprenticeship scheme, with a permanent position guaranteed on completion. This opportunity is designed to develop your skills and start a career in the logistics industry.
Salary starting at £397.33 per week and increasing as you progress through the programme. Culina offers a culture that values, challenges and inspires employees to thrive.
Note: as this is an apprenticeship, we are unable to accept applications from candidates who already hold a category C or C+E licence, or who require sponsorship to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for collecting and delivering our customers products in line with agreed service levels, while ensuring a professional service.
* You will learn about regulations surrounding Drivers Hours, Tachographs and Working Time legislation to ensure compliance and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Hold a valid full, manual UK driving licence with at least 6 months driving experience, no DD or DR codes, and no more than 6 points.
* Must be over 18 at the start of the apprenticeship.
* Can-do attitude and appreciation of customer service are important.
* Ability to remain motivated while working alone; strong team communication is essential.
* Willingness to work with colleagues as part of a team; good communication with peers is vital.
* A satisfactory medical assessment may be required if successful at the assessment day for safety purposes.

You may need to attend an on-site assessment to meet the team and learn about the company. Filtering of applicants may occur before the assessment date.
