The Role
We are currently looking for a Kitchen Porter. Your role is essential in the day to day running of our kitchen, ensuring our chefs have the relevant tools and service ware in order to carry out their role. You will be responsible for your area in the kitchen and also assisting in the hygiene and cleanliness of the department ensuring we comply with food safety regulations. You will also be available to assist in the preparation of some foods where time permits.
The ideal candidate will already be a catering environment, and ideally would have a passion for cooking and looking for some experience to enter into a cook or line chef role in the future. Full training and induction will be provided for you.
You will be flexible, reliable, enthusiastic with a passion for hospitality and be able to work in a team and also independently.
Our hotels and Conference Centres are busy establishments, therefore this is very much a hands on role.
