The Job Mission This is a hybrid role, open to those within commutable distance of Bristol, or willing to relocate with support from a small relocation allowance. As a Junior Technical Coordination Engineer (Configuration Management), you’ll support the integrity of plant configuration — the vital link between what is designed, built, and operated. You’ll coordinate technical information, manage changes, and ensure records remain accurate across one of Europe’s most complex engineering projects. * Assist in managing the plant configuration baseline – the project’s single source of truth * Track and support assessment of design changes to ensure safety and compliance * Help maintain integrity of digital plant models, drawings, and engineering records * Liaise with designers, contractors, and technical specialists to capture modifications * Support commissioning and handover activities with accurate configuration data * Contribute to reporting, KPI tracking, and data analysis to support decision-making * Participate in cross-disciplinary coordination meetings to resolve technical issues * Perform quality checks on engineering deliverables for consistency and accuracy Essential Skills and Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering field * Early career or placement experience in engineering projects * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills ✔️ Desired Skills * Exposure to large industrial or infrastructure projects (energy, oil & gas, etc.) * Familiarity with design change processes or configuration management tools * Understanding of technical drawings, models, or databases * Interest in developing a career within highly regulated, complex projects Additional Information Be part of a once-in-a-generation engineering project that will transform the UK’s energy landscape.
