We’re making a significant investment in pricing capability with a comprehensive pricing transformation programme. This includes the implementation of new pricing software, market-leading modelling, and performance monitoring approaches. Our pricing structure is more aligned to focus on the key disciplines of technical pricing, market pricing and pricing governance. As a result, several vacancies have arisen, with a need for strong data science, actuarial and governance skills. We’re looking for a Pricing Governance Analyst to join us. Reporting into the Pricing Governance Manager, you’ll undertake and deliver analysis for all AXA Health’s underwritten products to provide assurance that pricing is accurate, complies with regulation, AXA group standards, internal policies and delivers fair value to its customers. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Supporting the collation of datasets/reports to support the fair pricing annual review, pricing assurance audits, process and model reviews, and escalations from POSG, HRC, and other stakeholder committees. Providing analysis to support the completion of fair pricing controls and support audits of control processes. Assisting in monitoring and reporting of updates on pricing-related Risk Incidents and attestations, and completion of Scala pricing KRI assessments. Keeping abreast of the new product propositions and the impact of fair value and pricing assurance on those products. Building relationships with Pricing, Risk, Compliance, Retail & Commercial Pricing Assurance, and Retail Pricing Governance. Keeping up to date with AXA Group Standards, LS&H Sustainability Underwriting Guidelines, LS&H Underwriting Guide, and the AXA Health Fair Pricing Policy. Maintaining awareness of FCA general insurance regulations on pricing practices and fair value. What you'll bring: Understanding of PMI products and personal lines pricing approaches and systems. Excellent mathematical skills. Ability to grasp a range of technical concepts. Good understanding of the regulatory environment in which the business operates and understanding of the dynamics of large organisations. Strong analytical skills including use of Excel. Solution focused, with a strong focus on delivery, and desire for continuous improvement. Self-motivated with a can-do attitude. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
