Overview
The primary purpose of the Supported Housing Officer role is to work across our Housing Related Support Services and support the Service Users to make positive change and gain life skills and meet their goal to move on to independent living. You would support Service Users to gain life skills and meet their goal to move on to independent living. We do this by working with them on their own individual support plan, helping them to meet their ambitions in areas such as health, budgeting, training and employment. This role is within our ISAP (Ipswich Supported Accommodation Pathway) service which includes but is not limited to a complex support property and an all-male property. The role is varied and you may at times be required to support the wider housing team in other services.
Responsibilities
* Support Service Users to gain life skills and meet their goals to move on to independent living.
* Work with individuals on their own support plan, helping them meet ambitions in health, budgeting, training and employment.
* Collaborate with the wider housing team as needed across services.
* Provide coverage for ISAP properties as required.
Location and travel
This role covers Ipswich and wider Suffolk so a full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
