We have a unique opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to be part of our team as a Learning and Development Specialist.
This is a One Year fixed term opportunity.

What will my day look like?
With social work as your specialism, this role will design, develop and deliver a comprehensive program of learning across the scope of Children’s Services, including effective practice for managers.
As we continue the development of AcademyNEL, this pivotal role will be instrumental in designing and delivering innovative learning and development opportunities.

Joining an established team of learning and development professionals you will play a critical role in the initiation, design and implementation of a broad range of learning initiatives for Children’s Services supporting the development of Academy NEL, our organisational wide learning offer with a fantastic opportunities to make your mark in its continued transformation and growth.
About You
As an experienced Social Worker with a passion for Learning and Development you will have expertise in translating your wealth of knowledge and skills in to meaningful and impactful blended learning interventions that will have a direct impact upon our practice and ways of working to meet the needs of our children, young people and communities.
With responsibility for identifying needs, designing face to face and on-line content, delivery and reviewing the impact of your training interventions.

Please note:This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at a level appropriate to the post. It is a contractual and essential requirement that the successful candidate is registered with the DBS Update Service. You have 30 calendar days from the "date of issue" printed on your standard or enhanced DBS certificate to register for the DBS Update Service using the certificate number.
