We’re looking for a motivated, organised, and people-focused Practice Manager to join the established team at Hutton Village Dental Practice.
1. Full-time permanent opportunity - 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday
2. Competitive salary circa £38,000
3. Established and highly reputable 7-surgery mixed NHS and private practice
4. Modern and comfortable practice environment with a loyal patient base
5. Wide range of treatments offered, including implants, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, sedation, prosthodontics, and emergency dental care
6. Busy practice with strong patient demand and excellent referral network
7. Outstanding patient feedback with a Google rating
8. Supportive and collaborative leadership team, assisting with overall practice growth and management
9. Ideally suited to someone with previous dental practice management or dental industry experience
Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.
About you

10. A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background - experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is an added bonus, but not essential
11. Passionate about delivering great service

13. Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets)
14. Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team

Qualifications
**Required Skills and Experience:**
21. Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, support, and develop team members
22. Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L, KPIs, and budgets
23. Excellent organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
24. Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding customer service in a service-focused environment
25. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
26. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
27. Experience in process management and driving operational excellence
28. Proficiency with IT systems and practice management software
29. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within a healthcare or similar regulated environment
**Desirable Experience:**
30. Background in healthcare, dental practice management, or similar service-focused industry
31. Experience as a lead dental nurse or in a senior clinical support role
32. Proven track record of staff recruitment, induction, and retention
33. Experience with practice performance analysis and strategic planning
34. Familiarity with dental practice operations and patient care coordination

43. No specific qualifications are essential; however, relevant management qualifications or healthcare administration experience would be advantageous
