The Opportunity We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team at Walker & Son. This role provides essential support to the Finance Manager and Management Accountant, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis to drive business performance. Youll play a key part in maintaining compliance with month-end processes and supporting wider improvement projects. Support month-end processes, including compliance with timetables
Prepare and post prepayments, accruals, and other journals
Calculate and coordinate intercompany recharges
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for relevant accounts
Assist with ad hoc management accounting tasks and improvement projects

Previous experience in a finance team
