Key Information About This Role
Rates of Pay:
* 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour
* 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour
Contract end date: 3rd January 2026.
Our stores will be open 7 days a week, so you will need to be able to support us at weekends including Sundays.
The Hours We Have Available For This Store Are
* A 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or you might be asked to work two 6-hour shifts.
* An 8-hour per week contract: you will typically be offered 4-hour shifts over 2 days, or perhaps one full day at times.
If you are flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week, have a great attitude, and a friendly personality, we can make the hours you are available – work for you and us. Please provide as much detail as possible in your application. There may also be an opportunity for you to work extra hours in this role, depending on trade.
All Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts will include working on peak days such as Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, or New Year’s Eve as part of our busiest days of the year.

To Be A Seasonal Sales Assistant You Must Be
* Reliable and flexible in what hours you can work; there may be extra hours if we’re busy
* Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service
* Physically fit and able to move stock, work with deliveries and pallets, both individually and as part of a team
* Willing to help out in our local Tesco concession space (merchandising, keeping shelves full, talking to customers, and handling deliveries)
