We are now recruiting for a Supervisor to join our team at iForce Stafford on a full‑time, permanent position.
Job Description
Shift Pattern: Monday‑Friday rotating shift – 06:00 am‑14:00 pm & 14:00 pm‑22:00 pm.
Salary (effective from 1st November): £16.55 per hour – equivalent to £32,282.19 per annum.
Your job duties will include but not limited to the below.
* Provide training for new and existing staff to achieve the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
* Assist the Shift Supervisor to achieve timely and efficient receipt, pallet build, put‑away, and dispatch of stock.
* Assist the Shift Supervisor to achieve efficient receipt and pallet build of returned customer orders to maintain SLA targets.
* Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained.
* Ensure optimum levels of stock integrity.
* Assist the Shift Supervisor to ensure that staffing levels meet required levels of efficiency.
* Develop and train all team members so that their contributions to the warehouse can be maximised and succession plans are in place.
* Manage and motivate the shift team to ensure that productivity and service KPIs are achieved or exceeded.
* Monitor and control the work environment to ensure that it is operating at optimum efficiency.
* Be personable to effectively communicate with drivers and operatives while finding solutions for potential challenges.
Qualifications
* Experience of managing teams within a multi‑client warehouse environment desirable.
* Process‑oriented – an appreciation for specific client requirements.
* Delivery of quality and cost improvements through continuous improvement.
* People manager – leads by example, encourages team spirit and can motivate a team.
* Adaptable & responsive to change – ability to monitor workflow and move workforce accordingly.
* Computer literate and able to follow complex instructions.
