As a Route Planner at Bidfood, youll communicate with a range of people across departments within our business.
Day to day youll be: Planning our customers orders in the most efficient way, whilst complying with customer KPI's and drivers working time directive
Working with both the local Transport team as well as our sales teams
Maintaining the master data file so that it is kept up to date and relevant
Carrying out administrative and reporting duties to help the depot meet its legislative and corporate governance requirements
Respond in a timely and efficient way to changes in customer requirement's
This role, will keep you busy in an environment where our diverse customer range requires meticulous planning. Youll get technical with updating excel spreadsheets, reviewing previous plans looking for additional efficiencies. Youll be confident in seeking out support when you need it, not afraid to ask questions and suggest new ideas and ways of working.
It is essential you have previous Route Planner experience with a good geographical knowledge of the area. Experience with Paragon routing system preferred but not essential.
