The Role We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join a successful and collaborative team. The successful candidate will provide on-site supervision for works being undertaken in residential properties, including both occupied homes and voids. This is a key role ensuring health and safety compliance, operational efficiency, and high-quality delivery of services. Key Responsibilities As a Maintenance supervisor you will oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with client instructions. You will supervise operatives and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and adherence to health & safety protocols. As a maintenance supervisor you will liaise with residents and clients, addressing queries and resolving any issues that may arise. You will ensure all works are completed within agreed timeframes and meet contract KPIs. Assist in the planning and scheduling of appointments in coordination with the call centre. Conduct pre-inspections where required and submit relevant reports within set timeframes (48 hours for standard, 24 hours for urgent cases). Complete necessary documentation including method statements, risk assessments, and deliver toolbox talks. Attend regular team meetings and communicate effectively with the wider management team. Requirements Experience in a supervisory role within the repairs and maintenance sector. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site protocols.
