We are looking to recruit an Van Driver to provide an efficient delivery and collection service that meets targets and ensures customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities:
* Collecting/Delivering goods from a manufacturer or warehouse, ensuring timely deliveries to various locations
* Planning the delivery route in the most efficient way
* Loading the vehicle in a way that ensures that the planned route matches the order of deliveries and goods are securely transported
* Contacting recipients of the delivery while en route to ensure their presence
* Ensuring all paperwork and certification are prepared and presented for customer signature upon delivery, returning the relevant copy
* Liaising with production and inspection personnel to ensure efficient utilisation of transport
* Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, vehicle inspections, and signed receipts

* Assisting with loading and unloading of goods and materials, ensuring compliance with safety procedures
* Checking vehicle parts to ensure roadworthiness
* Follow company health, safety, environmental, and quality system procedures to ensure compliance and minimise risk
* Ensure good working practices and housekeeping standards are followed within the role
Qualifications, experience and skills:
* Category B driving licence is required (Category C is advantageous)
* FLT/PPT licence preferred
* Ability to work as part of a team
