The RoleDue to continued growth, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in interior fit-out or subcontracting. This is a key commercial role, managing costs across multiple projects while working closely with operational teams to ensure profitability and efficiency.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
* Managing the commercial aspects of multiple interior fit-out projects
* Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Cost control and forecasting to ensure projects remain within budget
* Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management
* Reviewing and negotiating contracts and terms
* Liaising with clients, site teams, and senior management
* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
* Ensuring all commercial processes align with company procedures
The Ideal CandidateThe successful Quantity Surveyor will have:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
* A background in interior fit-out, drylining, or subcontracting is essential
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach
* Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar preferred)
