The Role
As the Reception Class Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate learning experiences for early learners.
Foster a supportive classroom where pupils feel safe, valued and inspired to grow.
Promote positive behaviour and use strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a purposeful learning environment.
Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs, ensuring they are fully included and able to thrive.
Work collaboratively with staff to uphold inclusive practice and contribute to the school’s caring community ethos.
Celebrate diversity and promote values of equality, respect, and belonging.
The Ideal Educator
We are looking for a teacher who is:
Experienced in primary teaching, ideally EYFS/Reception.
Confident in behaviour management and creating a positive classroom culture.
Passionate about supporting pupils with ALN and committed to inclusive practice.
Adaptable and proactive, able to contribute to the wider school community.
Warm, reflective and child-centred, with a genuine commitment to helping all learners succeed.
Comfortable working in a diverse school, celebrating different cultures, backgrounds and needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
