About You
You are a compassionate, respectful, and trustworthy individual with experience in a care or social care setting. You can confidently lead a shift while working collaboratively as part of a team, and you have a sound understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and care planning. With excellent communication and organisational skills, you hold or are willing to work towards the Care Certificate and NVQ/QCF Level 2/3. Above all, you are flexible, committed to ongoing training, and passionate about delivering person-centred care that makes a real difference.
About the Role
As a Care Officer, you will:
1. Deliver person-centred care and support plans, including personal care.
2. Promote independence and dignity for adults with complex needs.
3. Administer medication safely and maintain accurate records.
4. Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals.
5. Lead shifts and support colleagues, deputising for senior staff when required.
6. Participate in reviews, meetings, and staff development.
7. Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and care standards.

This is a 32-hour per week role, worked on a 4 week rota basis. Shifts may include evenings and alternate weekends, with hours typically falling between 7am and 11pm. Enhanced pay rate for evening and weekend hours worked.
