Your Role...
You will play a pivotal role in pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying (QS) services to our clients – especially measurement, estimating, procurement, and post-contract commercial management of projects of varying size and complexity.
Your Team
You will join a diverse, growing team of Quantity Surveyors specializing in estimating and cost management, working across sectors like highways, structures, public realm, property, and maritime. You will be part of our Project Management and Commercial Management Team (PMCM), comprising about 400 colleagues across the UK, delivering services for building and infrastructure projects for public and private clients. You will be within the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities group, one of four within PMCM.
Locations include offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Teesside, Bristol & Guildford, which are accessible by public transport and near local amenities.

Essential
* AssocRICS working towards MRICS or a desire to do so
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge and experience with estimating at various design stages, measurement methods, digital tools, and post-contract administration (NEC, JCT)
Desirable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Flexible approach to workload
* Passion for making a difference and working in a dynamic team
* Relevant professional qualification or working towards (e.g., CICES, AcostE)
* Degree or higher education qualification
* Organizational and time management skills
* Familiarity with CostX, CEMAR, NEC Contracts, and other industry-standard software
* Ability to travel to various project sites and offices
