Your role and responsibilities We are looking for experienced Teamcenter Application Consultants to join our Client Innovation Center. Working alongside our Digital Engineering practice you will be responsible for configuring and supporting Teamcenter for some of our biggest clients, across a wide variety of sectors. IBM's Digital Engineering capability supports clients with the through-life design and manufacture of next generation products. We define and implement the technologies, capabilities and business processes that enable clients to make information driven decisions throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Work with the project team during analysis and design to ensure technical limitations and supportability requirements are considered early on in the project lifecycle. * The creation of Teamcenter configuration (including, but not limited to BMIDE Data Model, Workflows, Stylesheets, Access Control Lists (ACLs), etc.) for large engineering & manufacturing clients. * Documentation of the technical design and specification for the configuration. * Unit Testing. * Support of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities in relation to any defects found during testing of configuration. * Supporting the resolution of defects. * Supporting the creation of test data on development environments to assist with Unit Test activities. * Mock-up customer requirements to demonstrate a Proof of Concept. * Installation and maintenance of Teamcenter on the development environments. Required technical and professional expertise * 3 years of Teamcenter installation & configuration experience. * Strong working knowledge of PLM implementations and the delivery lifecycle. * Ability to translate requirements and design into configuration to meet the business or technical challenge. * Strong problem solving skills. * Good communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
