You will use your pricing and underwriting skills to demonstrate control and resolve issues efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with legislation, regulation, and internal governance, through reporting, process oversight, and providing challenge to new initiatives.
* Continuously improving control processes for efficiency and consistency across products, acting as a role model for effective controls and governance.
* Presenting findings to senior leadership on compliance and control outcomes.
* Managing incidents/defects by liaising with Pricing and Customer Operations teams, investigating root causes, and delivering fixes promptly.
What we are looking for
We are keen to hear from enthusiastic, passionate, and curious individuals with backgrounds in pricing, underwriting, or pricing implementation. Requirements include:
* Strong understanding of pricing algorithms and underwriting rules.
* Experience managing changes to these algorithms (preferred).
* Knowledge of legislation and regulation affecting motor insurance and their impact on pricing and customer experience.
* Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
* Ability to communicate complex information simply.
* Experience with Radar or similar pricing software (preferred).
* Experience with data manipulation languages such as SQL or Python (preferred).
