Salary: circa £55,000 plus pension and generous annual leave benefit
We are working in partnership with a charitable business, operating across the West Midlands providing support to people with disabilities and those who experience mental health problems.
The successful candidate will lead on all fiscal and IT issues and be accountable for these functions across the charity. This role will demand a strong commercial financial acumen, as these are difficult times for our sector. We are operating in an environment of disappointing settlements from commissioners and proposed changes in legislation which will complicate the supply of staff. Fortunately, the organisation has been well and prudently managed so has strong foundations.
The key purpose of the role is to provide professional leadership to the charity’s fiscal agenda, ensuring their efficacy and fit with the organisation's values, ethos, culture and strategy. With strategic responsibility for finance and IT you will ensure that the organisation has highly effective well-implemented operational strategies, which align to the charity’s core business, and deliver positive outcomes.
