* As a Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high standards of person-centred care, managing teams effectively, and promoting high quality care
•To ensure the support delivered within the services is person centred and that the people we support have choices and opportunities to ensure they are able to live as full a life as possible.
•To ensure that all processes, protocols and paperwork are compliant to CQC requirements and delivered to the highest standard.
•To handle communications between teams and managers
•To ensure that the people who we support have up to date care plans that effectively meet their needs.
•Support front line staff and people we support to identify, implement and review placements and day service activities.
•You will provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, lead with passion and enthusiasm promoting positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
•Hold regular team meetings with service staff, ensuring stakeholders and professionals are included when necessary.
•Coordinate rotas to ensure effective operations.
•Ensure the safety and well-being of all young residents, implementing safeguarding procedures and promoting a culture of awareness and vigilance.
•Undertake any necessary training, as appropriate to the role.

• Have experience in supervising team
•Child-centred approach to care. Caring, approachable and able to relate to the Young Person
•Positive attitude to care with ability to build a trusting relationship with your team
•Previous experience within children's social care or transferrable skill in supporting challenging behaviour and trauma informed methodology
•Full UK driving license is desirable
•Right to work in the UK
•NVQ Level 3 or 5 Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable, but you do have the option to work towards it.
•Basic understanding of children's human rights and safeguarding is essential.
•Experience working within a multi-agency environment is desirable.
•Self-motivation and determination to grow and succeed together
•Enhanced DBS check (Update Service DBS' desirable for swifter onboarding)
•Empathic, non-judgmental and a good listener
•You will need to relate to the Young Person, believe in them and support them to overcome their difficulties and grow
•It will be desirable if you have at least 2 years of experience
•Career progression via qualifications and promotion
•Free enhanced DBS check if you do not have one
•Ongoing learning. Access to a wide range of free online courses for all colleagues on a variety of topics.
