Core Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Teaching General Science at Key Stage 3 and your specialist discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at Key Stage 4 (GCSE), emphasizing the ethical implications of scientific advancement. Faith Integration: Supporting the academy’s ethos by participating in the liturgical life of the school and encouraging students to reflect on the moral and spiritual dimensions of scientific discovery. Practical Leadership: Planning and executing safe, engaging practical lessons in modern laboratories, ensuring students develop the hands-on skills required for the "Required Practicals." Diagnostic Assessment: Using data-driven insights to identify student misconceptions and providing targeted feedback that helps every learner reach their potential. STEM Enrichment: Leading extracurricular activities, such as Science Club or sustainability projects, that reflect the school’s commitment to stewardship of the environment.
