The Role We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager with strong capabilities in demand planning and asset management to join our high-performing Operations team. This strategic and hands-on role is pivotal to ensuring global service excellence through the effective planning, positioning, and movement of our rental assets. You will be responsible for the global coordination of logistics operations, with direct accountability for ensuring assets are in the right place at the right time, guided by accurate demand forecasts and robust inventory visibility. Your work will drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and optimised cost-to-revenue performance across our global service hubs. This role spans three interconnected operational domains: Demand Planning & Forecasting – Aligning global asset needs with business demand Inventory Management – Ensuring optimal asset availability and utilisation Logistics Operations Management – Leading global logistics execution through a 4PL partnership This role will own the relationship with TCC 4PL and be responsible for managing the performance, responsiveness, contractual compliance and cost vs revenue KPI’s related to internal movements. Operational KPI’s are all based off 4 areas – Service Delivery, Process Control, Continuous Improvement and Cost per revenue improvement. This role will have KPI’s / PI’s based on this framework. Key Responsibilities Logistics Operations & 4PL Management Lead and manage global logistics activities in partnership with TCC’s 4PL, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective asset movements. Oversee all aspects of international logistics execution, including customs, shipping modes, documentation, and delivery timelines. Define and manage KPIs for the 4PL covering service reliability, cost control, speed, and compliance. Review performance monthly. Drive continuous improvement through logistics technology (TMS), visibility tools, and data-driven decision making. Develop tailored logistics solutions with the 4PL based on operational needs and long-term business goals. Ensure logistics operations support business growth, new service hubs, and new product launches. KPI focus: Logistics cost per revenue, on-time delivery, 4PL performance. Demand Planning & Forecasting Own the rolling demand forecasts, working closely with Fleet Operations Utilise historical data, business inputs, and predictive tools to ensure accurate forecasting. Identify forecast gaps and implement proactive adjustments to minimise disruptions. Leverage planning systems and tools to support real-time updates and enhance forecast accuracy. Integrate planning with logistics execution to ensure asset movement aligns with forecasted demand. KPI focus: Forecast accuracy, service delivery performance. Inventory Management Ensure effective global management of stock levels within the global network to deliver OTIF service delivery Manage and maintain trigger levels to optimise utilisation and minimise costs Adopt and deliver JIT inventory principles Provide visibility into KPIs including (Lost Orders) availability vs demand, OTD (on-time delivery rate), transit adherence timings and cost management. Collaboration and Team Leadership Foster a culture of performance, data accountability, and continuous improvement. Set clear objectives and support team development through coaching, training, and regular reviews. Actively participate in business-wide initiatives related to process control, service delivery, and operational excellence. Job Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on inventory/asset management or global operations. Experience working in a service-based industry (e.g., healthcare, IT services, maintenance services) is highly desirable. Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and multi-regional operations. Skills Expertise in logistics network optimisation, asset lifecycle management, and predictive demand planning. Strong leadership and project management skills, with cross-functional team experience. Analytical mindset with ability to turn data into decisions using Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools. Proficiency with planning tools, CRM, and logistics systems (e.g., TMS, HubSpot). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
