Strategic Planning Department – Strategic Programme Manager REAS
Fixed term for 12 Months (Maternity Cover)
Band 8a, Full Time 36 hours per week
Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic planning leadership for the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and its associated services. Working as a senior member of the Directorate of Strategic Planning, reporting to the Deputy Director, you will provide support for the Director of the Royal Edinburgh and work closely with clinical teams across the full gamut of activities to ensure that our clear strategic plans for mental health, illness, and wellbeing are progressed.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic planning leadership; support the Director of the Royal Edinburgh; collaborate with clinical teams across all activities; ensure the development and progression of mental health, illness, and wellbeing strategies; manage complex projects across organisational boundaries; contribute to health and social care policy agenda.
Qualifications: Demonstrable experience working in highly complex environments; evidence of working across organisational boundaries; background in programme management or operations; strong insight into the health and social care policy landscape is an advantage.
