Afterschool Assistant
Grade 5 | Approx. £8,468 per annum - pay award pending
Monday to Friday | 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Hall Orchard CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dependable Afterschool Assistant to join our dedicated wraparound care team.
This rewarding role involves supporting the Afterschool Manager in providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for pupils at the end of the school day. The successful candidate will help deliver a range of fun and stimulating activities, supervise children, prepare snacks and refreshments, and support pupils’ wellbeing and development.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school, childcare or play setting
Is positive, patient and enthusiastic
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Works effectively as part of a team
Understands the importance of safeguarding and health & safety
Has good literacy and numeracy skills
Is willing to undertake training, including Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid
