Due to continuous growth, we have a requirement for experienced Diesel or Light Vehicle Mechanics in our Hindmarsh, Salisbury & Whyalla workshops.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel / Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of diesel-powered and light vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, petrol engines, and related vehicle systems.
* Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and safety checks.
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
* Repair or replace worn or faulty parts, including brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems.
* Conduct road tests to verify repairs and performance.
* Conduct monthly, quarterly & yearly inspection as part of the code of practice mandated by the department of planning, transport & infrastructure.
* Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Keep the workshop clean, organised, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
Skills & Qualifications
* Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle / Diesel) or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a diesel or light vehicle mechanic.
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Current driver’s licence (LR, HR or MR licence desirable).
* Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
