Job Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day management and development of all construction and/or renovations of major land, attraction, resorts, walkways, and waterways, back‑of‑house support buildings, parking structures and any new facilities. This will include planning, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, design, construction, fabrication, delivery, and commissioning required to open the project within the assigned budget, quality, schedule, creative and guest experience targets.
Major Responsibilities
* Construction/Fabrication/Implementation
o Coordinate & manage design decisions and construction document production; avoid contract claims and disputes; minimise change orders; manage changes; eliminate interface disruptions; maintain and improve schedule and budget; ensure quality design and construction; emphasise hands‑on management of field operations; establish competent staff; implement efficient document control.
o Review scope of work and design of attractions, facilities, resorts and themed environments for reliability and safety.
* Budget/Scheduling
o Daily monitor project budget and schedule, ensuring compliance with approved objectives for new attractions, facilities, resorts, themed environments, refurbishments, and enhancements.
o Review development criteria to ensure correct and complete delivery.
* Creative/Design/Architectural Management
o Qualify, procure, select, contract and evaluate all architectural, engineering and technical designers.
o Direct delivery while preserving creative/architectural intent within budget and schedule; meet original objectives.
* Personnel Management
o Hire & select project team members; oversee performance; develop team growth.
* Project Reporting
o Track & report project components (budget, schedule, progress) to upper management; maintain documentation for successful completion.
o Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per UDX policy.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field (preferred).
* License in Architecture or Engineering (preferred).
* Experience in facility maintenance field with specific training in maintenance and inspection, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Supervision of project team ranging 3–15 people, including architects, engineers, project managers, schedulers, estimators, technical personnel and external consultants.
