We are looking for a Domestic Assistant with a passion for making a difference. You’ll be working 25 hours a week, working at Cygnet Paddocks, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care. Cygnet Paddocks is our all male specialist neuropsychiatric hospital located in Widnes, in the North West. The service provides a dedicated care pathway for men affected by acquired brain injury or neurological conditions, where behaviours that challenge are the overarching impairment to recovery and rehabilitation. Supporting the level 1 Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation Pathway for the North West, with a focus exclusively on Adult Males. Paddocks has individually designed wards to facilitate a clear and distinctive care and treatment pathway for those affected by an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI); where behaviours that challenge are the overarching impairment to recovery and rehabilitation. You will • Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service • Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness • Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes • Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained • Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures • Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations You are • Experienc ed in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable) • Knowledgeable of COSHH (desirable) • Friendly, conscientious & have a positive attitude • A good communicator Why Cygnet?
