🚀 Data Engineer – Fully Remote (UK) | Global Fintech
Our client is building next‑generation data capabilities to power a merchant‑first ecosystem, and they are looking for a hands‑on Data Engineer with strong production experience to join the team.

The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will:
* Design and maintain scalable, resilient data pipelines
* Build cloud‑native workflows and robust ETL/ELT processes
* Optimise SQL and enhance data quality across production systems
* Transform and model data for analytics, reporting, and finance
* Collaborate with BI, Finance, and Engineering teams
* Own deliverables end‑to‑end in a fast‑moving environment
* Minimum 2 years Advanced SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL):
* Complex queries, optimisation, and financial‑grade precision (8–10 decimal points)
* Solid Java experience (collections, streaming, filters)
* Proven experience building production data pipelines at scale
* Exposure to financial data and mission‑critical systems
* Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Airbyte)
* Familiarity with SOAP/REST APIs, cloud storage (S3, Blob, Oracle Bucket)
* Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift) & DBT
