The cookie stores information anonymously and assigns a randomly generated number to recognise unique visitors.- Description Google Analytics sets this cookie to store and count page views.- Description Description is currently not available.# Temporary Despatch Packer**Job Function:** Supply Chain**Job Location:** Blaenavon - South Wales**Hours of Work:** 37 hours / week Mon-Thurs: 0800-1630 Fri: 0800-1300**Closing Date:** Open until filled**Job Purpose**Responsible for the despatching of product from site, right first time and in full in line with internal and external customer expectations.**Principle Accountabilities:** • Improve work as part of a team to achieve departmental KPI’s with respect to Right first time (RFT), on time in full (OTIF). • Ensure pre use fork lift and crane checks have been carried out and documented in line with Health and safety policy. • Prepare subcontracted products for collection or shipment. • Pack products in line with Customers specification. • Ensure test pieces are despatched according to Customers’ requirements. • Load up collection vehicles with packed products for despatch. • Pack product in line with customer specification ready for despatch. • Support Fork Lift activities throughout the manufacturing process. • Support annual stock take. • Encourage and actively contribute to continuous improvement activity. • Maintain a tidy working environment to expected levels of housekeeping and organisation at all times.**Essential experience / qualifications:** • Previous experience operating as an FLT driver. • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.**Personal Skills / Abilities** • Proactive and driven “can do attitude” • Good interpersonal skills, particularly team working • Ability to achieve deadlines and targets consistently • Ability to work under own initiative • Flexible, and promotes good working practices## Apply for this position
