About the role
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant.
Other responsibilities will include some or all of the following:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting care and updating care plans and records accordingly.
* Involvement in the person-centred care planning process, including implementing, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where required.
* Acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals; ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About you
To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate must:
* Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
