Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes when required (PPA or short-term cover)
Support teaching and learning across key stages through targeted interventions
Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated activities for pupils with varying needs
Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with SEND, EAL, or additional barriers to learning
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
Support behaviour management strategies and promote a positive classroom culture
Help assess pupil progress and contribute to learning plans and reports
Candidate Requirements
HLTA status (or equivalent qualification) is strongly preferred
Proven experience working as a TA, LSA, or HLTA in a UK school setting
Confidence leading whole-class learning when required
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils
A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach to supporting learners
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
