Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Technology A unique opportunity to take full ownership of the thermomechanical analysis and design of the rotating components within a micro-gas turbine. You’ll act as the specialist in rotor dynamics, helping to solve complex challenges such as vibration, shaft flexibility, and balancing issues. With a background in mechanical design and rotating machinery, you’ll bring strong expertise in thermomechanical analysis and rotor dynamics. Experience with high-speed balancing would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with practical experience in rotating equipment, such as turbines or motors. You’ll be confident in addressing complex engineering challenges during the design and development of advanced systems, applying both analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills. Proficiency in FEA, thermodynamics, and rotating systems will be highly valued. This role is looking for: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent. At least 3 years of relevant industry experience. Experience working with rotating technology such as turbines, compressors, or high-speed motors. Strong background in thermomechanical analysis and rotor dynamics. Familiarity with FEA and thermodynamics tools and methods.
