JMB13 - Service Engineer
Location: Field Based, South West of England (Based from Cornwall).
Salary: £35,(Apply online only) - £40,(Apply online only) per annum.

Overview:
We’re working with a long established and successful engineering business based in the South of England, providing lifting equipment services including thorough examination, servicing, design and installation. Their client base ranges from small engineering firms through to large pharmaceutical organisations and military establishments.
They are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Service Engineer with a flexible attitude to carry out servicing, repairs and LOLER thorough examinations on a wide range of lifting equipment across the South West. This is a field-based role with travel to customer sites, operating from the Cornwall depot.
You will be responsible for completing all associated documentation in line with current legislation and company procedures, while adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, company policies and customer requirements.

What Is Required.
Carry out servicing, repair and LOLER thorough examinations on lifting equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical and/or mechanical faults.
Complete all relevant paperwork in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental legislation at all times.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Communicate professionally with customers on site and maintain excellent customer focus.
Work to risk assessments and method statements.
Be physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
Hold a current UK driving licence.
Be willing to work overtime and stay away from home when required.
Desirable Qualifications.
LEEA qualifications highly desirable.
Experience working as an engineer with knowledge of LOLER and PUWER.
Background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering with strong general engineering fundamentals.
