We are recruiting fora specification biased Area Sales Manager on behalf of a marketleading manufacturer within the electrical sector who have an 80%UK market have consistently grown sales year on year for the last10 years and are on track to exceed turnover expectations againthisyear.
Withthis recruitment are looking to expand their sales team bringingsomeone in to take over responsibility for the DG KA ML and PApostcode areas in WestScotland.
Onoffer is a salary of up to 53000 which is negotiable based onexperience a generous bonus scheme based on company results(achievable guide figure is 40000 with the potential to earn more)a Company Car (Hybrid X1 3 Series or C Class) Laptop Tablet iPhonePension Scheme (company will contribute 7% if you contribute aminimum of 3%) Private Healthcareetc.
Asthe Specification Sales Manager you willbe:
* Responsiblefor continued sales growth within the DG KA ML and PApostcodes.
* Targetingthe specification of products on Local Authority HousingAssociation and other specifier projects.This will include targeting Local Authorities HousingAssociations Electrical Contractors Architects New Build Developersand M & EContractors.
* Supportingthe Distribution Network (Electrical Wholesalers) as thespecification specialist ensuring their teams understand theproduct range their key benefits and are confident in their abilityand proactive in promoting all of this to their customerbase.
* Deliveringtraining and CPD presentations toSpecifiers.
* Producingreports on progress within your territory and utilising the CRMsystem to record visit reportsetc.
Requirements
Tobe considered for this opportunity you will need todemonstrate:
* Salesexperience in a similar industry. If youhave technically biased electrical sector experience (LightingControls Heating Ventilation Wiring etc.) from either working for amanufacturer or an Electrical Wholesaler this would be anadvantage.
* Experienceof developing business with a technically biased product in aspecification ledenvironment.
* Experienceof the Social Housing and Local Authoritysector.
* Thatyou have regularly achieved or exceeded set salestargets.
* Strongterritory planningskills.
* Strongadministration skills with experience of Office 365 (Outlook WordExcel PowerPoint) and CRMsystems.
* Theability to communicate with customers at all levels with theability to identify contacts and gainappointments.
* Thatyou either live within the DG KA ML or PA postcode areas or withina 30 minute commute of one ofthese.
