Client and Accounts Manager
Birmingham
Hybrid and Part-time (25 hours)
Up to £50k FTE

Puro Associates are delighted to be working with a well-established and expanding accountancy practice looking for an experienced and driven Client Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and delivery of accounts assignments, as well as providing advice on corporate and personal taxation to their clients.

Responsibilities:
* Plan assignments in conjunction with the partner and manage the delivery of accounts assignments
* Calculate and advise on corporate and personal taxation, providing guidance to clients
* Supervise accounts production staff and review their work, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy
* Identify cross-selling opportunities and develop new business leads
* Monitor your chargeability and ensure profitability of your portfolio of clients
* Coach other staff for improved performance and technical development, providing support and guidance as needed
* Build client relationships and manage a portfolio of clients, becoming the main point of contact for their needs
* Assist with the introduction of new systems within the practice, keeping up-to-date with the latest industry developments

Requirements:
* ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong technical knowledge of accounts and taxation, with experience in leading and managing accounts assignments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
* Demonstrated ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and develop new business leads
* Experience using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and IRIS would be an advantage
* Experience in managing and coaching staff for improved performance and technical development
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude
