Job Description
3. Managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnership
4. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102/FRS 105.
5. Reviewing bookkeeping and management accounts prepared by junior team members.
6. Supervising, mentoring and developing Junior Accountants and Apprentices.
7. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
8. Providing business advisory support, identifying opportunities to add value.
9. Reviewing VAT returns and supporting corporation tax compliance processes.
10. Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets and deadlines
11. Assisting Partners with workflow management and practice development.
The Successful Applicant
12. ACA / ACCA qualified.
13. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
14. Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
15. Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards.
16. Experience reviewing work and supervising junior staff.
17. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
20. Excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships.
