Fabricator/Welder
Melton Mowbray, LE14
£16.00 - £18.00 Per hour
Hours / Days of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
* Operate welding equipment primarily in both MIG and TIG Welding – any experience in MMA Welding would also be beneficial.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
* Able to perform both in the workshops and fit out on site.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.
Requirements
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication is essential.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Full driving licence required.
Additional Information
This is a temp to perm role, offering a permanent contract following a successful 13‑week temp period.
Rates of Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour – with overtime available at competitive rates.
