Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Collaborate with management on menu development and special events.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
* Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly.
Skills
* Proven experience in supervising and managing kitchen teams.
* Strong background in food production and preparation techniques with in an educational setting.
* Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking.
* Experience in hospitality settings, preferably within restaurants or catering services.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.50-£17.00 per hour
