This position offers the chance to work on complex engineering projects and support the development of new product concepts used across critical global industries. About the Role As a Design Engineer, you will contribute to the end-to-end design and development of engine components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, durability, quality, cost, and serviceability requirements. You'll work closely with global teams, suppliers, and on-site engineers to deliver high-quality design outputs and support project milestones. This is a backfill role with immediate impact, joining a collaborative engineering office of around 30-40 team members. What You'll Be Working On Designing and developing engine components and systems for timely production release Creating and refining 3D models using Creo Leading and supporting DFMEA and DVP&R activities Supporting prototype build, testing and analysis Conducting materials research and competitive benchmarking Working with suppliers on development and performance improvements Ensuring high-quality, defect-free design releases Preparing technical presentations and documentation What You'll Need Essential experience: Spark-ignited or diesel engine design Product development experience Extensive Creo knowledge Ability to carry out simple simulation work Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science (Mechanical Engineering preferred) 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience Soft Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving capability
