QA Engineer
Ampthill
Paying up to £45,000 (DOE)
Please note - due to the nature of the role, all applicants need to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK security clearance
Key Responsibilities
* Work across multiple projects, being the point of contact for quality issues.
* Manage non-conformances through the process, including facilitating RCCA
* Documentation reviews and approvals
* Attending design reviews
* Input to bids and proposals for quality
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
* Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from shop floor to senior management, across a variety of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
* Strong decision-making capability, with a willingness to take ownership and accountability for resolving issues through to completion.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information.
* High level of proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience with SAP Quality module is desirable but not essential.
* Demonstrable experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions is essential.
* Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO standards) would be advantageous
